We have a problem. The shop is full of broken-down vehicles and there is more on their way. Central Chevrolet is looking for technicians of all levels to help us get the job done. We offer a great opportunity to make a good living and advance your career.

What we offer:

A Monday through Friday schedule (no weekends) – Spend more time with your family or doing what you want to do.
Company pays 70% of Health Insurance and Dental with deductible reimbursement
Flexible pay plans to fit your needs (Flat Rate, Hourly, Hybrid etc.)

Pay Plan:

$34 to $38 per hour

Production Bonus

Weekly Adjustments

45 Hours or more = $0.50 per hour

50 hours or more = $1.50 per hour

60 Hours or more = $2.50 per hour

Monthly Bonus

Hours worked vs Hours Flagged (160 hours worked vs 200 Hours Flagged = 125%

100% = $0.50 per number of hours in the month period

112.5% = $0.75 per hour

125% = $1.00 per hour

150% = $1.25 per hour

Hourly rate is dependent on experience, GM Training %, and productivity.

Technician Attributes job will require:

Technician should be able to produce 50-70 flat rate hours per week (The work is available)
Technician should have knowledge and ability to diagnosis and repair all aspects of customers vehicle (engine, transmission, suspension, electrical, differential, brakes, programming, etc.
Quality repairs and excellent workmanship
Strong ability to diagnosis customer’s concerns by using all the tools available to you
Follow repair procedures per GM Guidelines
Familiarity with using computers
Dedication to completing all General Motors Technical Training
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with service personnel
Perform thorough and honest multi-point inspections on all vehicles
Focus on productive and efficient repairs
Personally motivated with a drive to succeed
Excellent attendance
Proper repair documentation on each vehicle assigned
GM experience preferred but not required
ASE Certifications a plus
