Parts Counter Specialist
The Truck Shop is a busy Commercial Truck Dealership located in Auburn, Washington. Some of the brands we carry are Western Star, Hino, Mitsubishi Fuso, Allison, Cummins and Detroit. We specialize in parts for a wide variety of makes and models. As a Parts Specialist, you play an integral role in day to day operations, and are at the forefront of customer interaction.

Parts Specialist Primary Role Responsibilities: include but not limited to
Answer parts phone calls and greet walk-in customers
Lookup parts for customers on a wide variety of makes and manufacturers using both OEM catalog lookups and aftermarket parts resources.
Assist in parts lookup for the service shop when required.
Place parts orders for customers and the service shop as needed.
Pull parts from inventory for customers and the service shop.
Daily inventory cycle counts.
While the above are your primary responsibilities, you will not be limited to these tasks. You must be willing and able to perform other tasks as needed or required.
Parts Specialist Required Role Skills:
Positive communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Organization – Being organized is key in this role, as you will often need to determine the order in which tasks are completed to be most effective.
Task/Time Management – You will often need to determine what task needs to be completed first/what is most important to the work flow.
Windows/Microsoft Office – A basic skill level is required for this role. Must be able to edit and organize existing documents, as well as create new documents as the role requires.
Must be able to comfortably lift 30 pounds.

Together with our delivery team, our parts department serves the major Puget Sound area with same day and next day parts delivery and pickup. With over 30,000 square feet of parts warehouse we have the truck parts you need and in stock. Our parts associates are knowledgeable and capable of finding the truck parts you need when you need them.
