Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency, attention to detail, and thoroughness in mind.
  Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
  Verify repairs have been performed properly and job is completed.
  Assist in maintaining shop space and equipment by wiping equipment off after use, putting special tools back in their proper location, and informing manager when a tool or piece of equipment is in need of replacement or repair.
  Maintain good hygiene and have a clean professional appearance.
